Track season is quickly approaching with the first practice being Tuesday after spring break (March 29th). Students please make sure your physicals are up to date, activity fee is paid (Online-Skyward) and T-Shirt & Spirit Wear payments are delivered to the library by this Friday, 3/18. TALENT SHOW - The acts of the Talent Show have now been posted outside of the Chorus Room! Please see Ms. Schell during 4th block for a rehearsal schedule. Rehearsals will begin after we return from Spring Break.

KMS DI Technical Team: There will be a team meeting for the DI Technical Team after school TODAY, Tuesday, March 15th until 4:15 in the GAC. Please see Mrs. Markowski in the Gold office if you are unable to attend.

KMS Student Council Reps: We meet TODAY during the 4th-hour block in the GAC. We will follow the same procedure we always do - 7th and 8th graders report to the GAC immediately at 11:40 and 6th graders report after your lunch period. See you there.
The Jr. Key Club meeting scheduled for today has been RESCHEDULED to Monday, March 14th .
Variety Show Auditions begin today! Auditions will be after school TODAY, MONDAY MARCH 7th and TUESDAY MARCH 8th from 2:45 until done in the Chorus Room. Students should leave right after their audition is
over, so please be sure to have a ride available. If you are interested, sign up for an audition spot for one of the days on the sheet outside the Chorus Room. Please see Mrs. Buettner or Ms. Schell with any questions.
Student Council Reps: There will be a teacher appreciation dinner planning meeting during 4 th hour block TODAY! 7th and 8th Grade reps will meet at 11:40 ; 6th Grade reps will meet at 12:15. This meeting will be in the GAC.
BATTLE OF THE BOOKS DATES CHANGED (6TH / 7TH GRADES)
Due to conflicts the 7th Grade Battle of the Books competition will take place on TUESDAY 3/1 during SAS and IDR times and 6th Grade will Battle on Friday 3/4 during their SAS and IDR times in the library - not the GAC as originally planned. Good luck to all teams and competitors!
Please join us for the annual Youth Art Month opening at the Germantown Library next Wednesday, March 2nd from 5:30-6:30pm. There will be
approximately 100 works of art on display from KMS students, along with hundreds of works made by K-12 students in the Germantown School District. All of the art teachers, Elementary, Middle, and High School, will be there to celebrate our talented students. We hope to see you there!
MENU CHANGES @ KMS and GHS ONLY
Due to school closing on Tuesday (2/22), there have been changes to the following lunch menu: Wednesday's menu (2/23) will be served on Thursday (2/24). Friday's menu (2/25) will remain the same.
Do you have a talent you'd like to share? Do you do martial arts, slight of hand, tell jokes, sing, play an instrument, act or dance? Would you like to host the event by announcing each act? Then sign up to audition for this year's Variety Show! There will be one evening performance on Wednesday, April 13th. Good luck to the volleyball teams as they open up play tonight at home versus John Long Grafton. 7th grade plays in the gold gym and 8th grade is in the blue gym. REMINDER: For tonight and next weeks home games, all student spectators must be accompanied by an adult to attend. You will need to go home and then return to school with that adult. Thanks!
February is all about hearts… so Help Kiss Heart Disease Goodbye with the Jr. Key Club. We will be running a lollipop sale Wednesday, February 16 - Friday, February 18th to help raise money for the American Heart Association. The Jr. Key Club will be selling Kiss Lollipops to students during their SAS / IDR time.
Each lollipop is only $1, and if you purchase 5, you get ONE FREE! All proceeds will go to help benefit the American Heart Association. Our goal is to raise over $700. So, have a heart and help support us by bringing your dollars to donate for a loving cause.
