Meet the Cast of Steel Magnolias

Dramatic Impact presents the winter play "Steel Magnolias", showing February 3rd-5th. A young beautician arrives in a small Louisiana town and finds work in a local hair salon. Throughout the play the women in the salon gossip about the town and support each other through personal tragedies. This small cast serves up big personalities with much laughter along the way. Megan Deml (Truvy Jones) - Megan is a senior at GHS and is very excited to play Truvy Jones in Steel Magnolias. You may have seen her in this year's performance of Clue or last year's performances of The Importance of Being Earnest, and Mamma Mia! Outside of the show, she is involved with the high school's A cappella group-Soltown and loves to perform with Choir and Colorguard. Megan is incredibly appreciative of all of her family and friends in and outside of the cast for supporting her. She would like to thank Danny Ellis and Heather Sugden for making this a successful show!!

Bree Paproki (Annelle Dupuy Desoto) - Bree Paprocki has enjoyed playing quirky, caring Annelle! She’s a freshman and just recently moved to Germantown. Some of her previous roles include Clara in The Nutcracker (Watertown Players) and Mrs. White in Clue: High School Edition (Sunset Playhouse). Steel Magnolias has most certainly put Bree out of her comfort zone (for starters, she knew nothing about hair styling or Southern accents), but she has loved every minute of it! Enjoy!

Hannah Paul (Clairee Belcher) - Hannah Paul is a junior at Germantown High School and is extremely excited to play Clairee in Steel Magnolias. The cast of this show is absolutely amazing. She loves each and every one of them and loves how they each are able to embody their characters. She wants to thank Danny Ellis and Heather Sugden for always creating wonderful shows. And, she wants to thank her friends and family for always supporting her and coming to see her shows. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Aimee Zarder (Shelby Eatenton Latcherie) - Aimee is a senior this year and is so excited to be playing Shelby! You may have seen her in other shows such as Peter and the Starcatcher, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged, The Importance of Being Earnest, Mamma Mia, and CLUE. Besides theater, Aimee loves singing, playing flute and guitar, and any kind of visual arts. She is also always listening to or talking about Taylor Swift. She wants to thank her amazing cast-mates, all of which she adores and admires, as well as Danny and Heather for making this incredible show possible. Truly, one of her favorite parts of this show is the family-like bond she has been able to form and deepen with the other girls in the cast. Lastly, Aimee wants to thank her family and friends for being so supportive, and she hopes everyone loves the show as much as she does.

Sophia Johnson (M'Lynn Eatenton) - Sophia Johnson is a Senior here at GHS and is super excited to be playing M’Lynn in Steel Magnolias. You may have seen Sophia as Molly in Peter and the Starcatcher, Chutney in Legally Blonde, or as the Stage Manager for both The Importance of Being Earnest and Clue. She has worked incredibly hard on this show and is so excited for you to see it! Enjoy the show!

Eden Annoye (Ouiser Boudreaux) - Steel Magnolias is Eden’s first production with GHS and she could not be more excited. She is currently a sophomore and has loved getting to know the cast and seeing them portray their characters. She would like to thank her family for their support and for encouraging her to audition. Please enjoy the show!

Linnea Huntoon  (Stage Manager) - Linnea is a junior this year at Germantown High School, and is so excited to be the stage manager for Steel Magnolias. You may have previously seen her in last year’s winter production of The Importance of Being Earnest and this year’s fall play CLUE. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Kendall Privatt (Assistant Stage Manager) - Kendall, a freshman, is so excited to be the assistant stage manager for Steel Magnolias. This is Kendall’s first time working behind the scenes on a show. She also enjoys performing on stage, singing with the GHS Choir, and dancing at competitions. Kendall was recently in the Dramatic Impacts production of Clue. She hopes you enjoy the show!
