"Painting has always been my way of connecting with the world around me. Living in Wisconsin has given me a lifetime of inspiration, from rivers and forests to gardens and skies. Most people look at the world in two ways: either you look at something, or you see something. To me, seeing means noticing shapes, forms, colors, values, and textures—the infinite variety of the landscape—and reimagining them on canvas with fresh eyes. My work ranges from impressionist landscapes to abstract explorations, always seeking simplicity that still moves people and captures the quiet energy of the world around us."
