Daily Announcements

Good Morning, Crusaders! We’re glad you’re here! Happy Friday! Today is a GOLD day.

Today’s weather at noon: 24 Degrees. If you plan on going outside for recess, bring a coat or jacket because once you go out for recess, you are not allowed to come back in. So please dress appropriately.

Please make your lunch choice now. Lunch choices for the next day can be ordered after 1:30 each day. Feel free to sign up for the next day’s lunch after 1:30 or when you get home from school. Just a reminder you can’t go through the serving lines with your friends unless you are purchasing food.

When you enter the Blue Gym, please stay as close to the bleachers as possible. We don’t want to get salt or water on Mr. Wilhelm’s performance space. And remember the KMS Way and be respectful to our guest!

Congratulations on a fantastic concert to the 8th-grade and jazz bands. It was a wonderful performance!

Rules Reminder - Only water is allowed in the classroom. Any other drink that you may have must be consumed in the cafeteria during breakfast or lunch.

Bus Rules Reminder! Remember to always be kind to each other, stay seated at all times and no food on the bus. Our bus drivers work hard to get you to school safely and home safely. Respect the driver, respect each other and respect yourself. Follow the rules to keep yourself and other Crusaders safe! Remember the KMS Way!

Rules Reminder - RECESS: When you go out for recess, be sure to put your lunch bag in the appropriate spot. You cannot bring food, chips, drinks to the recess play area. Any food or drink item, preferably in a lunch bag, that you’re bringing out of the cafeteria must stay in the spot where all the lunch bags are. As you are walking to the play area, you must stay on the sidewalk until you get to the grassy play area. For your safety, please do not step into the driveway.

Reminder - Listen to your teachers!

Rules Reminder: Substitute Behavior: Treat the guest teacher the same way you’d treat your teacher. Show respect and follow directions the first time. Keep the classroom running smoothly by staying on task, using quiet voices, and helping each other. Be responsible, do your work, clean up after yourself, and leave things better than you found them. Represent our school well. Your behavior shows who we are, so let’s make it positive and respectful. Remember, your teacher will hear how things went. Make it a day you’re proud of!

Advisory - Bring everything you need TO Advisory. Only one student is allowed out of Advisory at a time. (unless it’s an emergency) Advisory is a time to get everything done from the day.

ACT Word of the Day is engrossed - to fully occupy the mind or attention. She was so engrossed in the book that she forgot the cakes in the oven.
