The Germantown Baseball Team won 3 games this week, defeating Sussex Hamilton 10-1, Milwaukee Reagan 22-6, and Tosa East 5-3. Senior Johnny Nieskes pitched a one-hitter against Hamilton, allowing only a 1st inning bunt single. Ethan Sitter and Jack Kolinski helped the Warhawks cruise to victory against Reagan Wednesday in miserable rainy  conditions, and Brady Schulze, Carter Szohr, and Cole Baier led the team to a hard-fought victory against Greater Metro Conference rival Tosa East. The team raised its overall record to 3-3 and its GMC record to 2-2.

On Saturday the Germantown Boys' Varsity Golf Team traveled to Washington County GC for the Hartford Orioles invite.   Germantown finished in first place among the Washington County teams and won the “King of the County” for 2022.  Germantown’s Camden Schmidt was medalist of the County with a 77.  Rounding out the team scores were Joey Bruss and Cody Schmidt with 85’s  and Sam Sies and Justin Ische with 88.  Germantown finished 5th overall out of 26 teams.     

 On Wednesday and Thursday the team played at the prestigious Blackwolf Run Championship course and day two at Whistling Straits Irish course.  This two days event featured 46 of the states top teams.  Germantown finished in 8th place overall . Camden Schmidt 77 and 84  was low for Gtown, he finished 13th individually! 

The Germantown Girls' Varsity Soccer Team beat Kewaskum in a non-conference game 2-0.  Goals by Julia Niles assisted by Jaycee Mani and Jaycee got the 2nd goal unassisted.  They are now 1-1 in the early season with a big Conference match vs Menomonee Falls Friday 4/22 @ MF at 5pm.  Good luck!

The bats were on fire again for the Germantown Warhawks. The Warhawks scored 17 runs off of 12 hits with 6 singles, 3 doubles, 2 triples and 1 home run. The home run was hit by # 22 Leah Heinz. She also had a double with 4 RBI's. The team also had multiple hits from #2 Maddy Balsinger, #25 Emmy Coulter, #17 Kayla Preiss and #12 Kate Partridge. The winning pitcher was #5 Sarah Nasif with 79 total pitches with 47 of them strikes. She allowed 1 run with only 4 hits. She walked 1 with 6 strikeouts. Madison Werner was behind the plate and allowed no steals on the night. She also had 6 putouts with 1 assist. The girls are 4-0 in the conference and 5-0 overall. Keep up the great work!

The Germantown Boys' Tennis Team had a great week, despite the cold weather! The varsity team won all 3 dual matches at the Cedarburg quad. Then against Oak Creek, varsity won 6-1 and JV won 7-3! Everyone played great and did a great job supporting their teammates! Way to go Hawks!
