Congratulations to the Wall of Sound for their performance at Marching Band Madness on Saturday. It was a full day with an afternoon clinic when the judges worked directly with the band to improve the band’s performance. The evening included a chance to rehearse with visiting bands from Hamilton HS, Franklin HS, Cedarburg HS, and Greenfield HS. The mass group paraded into the Stadium and each group performed for packed stands. The annual mass band performance wrapped up a great day. A big thank you goes out to the more than 100 parent volunteers who made the day happen. Good Luck this weekend at the Saber Marching Invitational at Franklin HS!

This past Friday the Germantown Boys’ Cross Country Team traveled to Neenah, WI to race under the lights. Friday Night Lights delivered the excitement and PRs as the team finished 11th out of 18 teams in Division 1. Junior Vander Hausmann earned a medal with his 6th place finish as the team’s top runner and Ben Armstrong (junior), Ishaan Singh (sophomore), Emanuel Santiago (sophomore), and Will Grimm (sophomore) completed the scoring five. Additionally, eleven runners set personal records (PRs) and numerous other athletes had season best performances. Congrats to the following athletes on their PRs: Vander Hausmann, Ben Armstrong, Ishaan Singh, Emanuel Santiago, Will Grimm, Aarav Patel, Will Reedy, Connor McGinty, Max Goltry, Josiah Schmidt, and Victor Chang.
This past Tuesday the team volunteered at the Kennedy Middle School home cross country meet. The boys worked the finishing chute; lead races on their bikes; swept the course behind the last runner; cleaned up the course after the races were completed; and cheered on athletes. (Thank you and well done to all!)
This Friday the team travels to Wausau, WI for an overnight trip and will compete in the 70th Annual Smiley Invite on Saturday. This is the oldest invitational meet in northern Wisconsin and will feature some of the top ranked individuals and teams. GOOD LUCK!

The Warhawks have been hard at work this week preparing for the rest of their season. The team, like the boys, had a change of scenery for practice Tuesday, September 15th and volunteered at the Kennedy Middle School Cross Country meet! The team enjoyed giving back to the program that started many of their running journeys while encouraging the future of our program. Keep up the great work, girls!

Good luck to the football team as they travel to Brookfield East tonight for a 7pm match-up! You can purchase tickets HERE. (They are cashless)
Congrats on the victory last week on the road at Mukwonago as well!

The Girls' Varsity Golf Team closed out their mini-meet season at Fairways of Woodside on Tuesday. Led by a season best 40 from Ella Larson that featured 2 birdies (Ca-Caw) and Emily Laitinen’s 41 the team tied for 5th. On Thursday, five of the team's seniors - Mya Borchard, Angelina Tarantino, Ella Saltarikos, Rylie Wille, and Emily Laitinen traveled to Erin Hills to compete in the Hartford Scramble. Battling soggy conditions and traversing the many hills the girls fired a 1 under 35 to place in the top 5. The team looks to carry the momentum from this week into a busy week starting Monday with the Franklin Invite followed by the GMC Conference tournament on Wednesday.
The JV team dominated Tosa at Currie Park on Tuesday. Led by Mya Borchard and Anna Ruedinger’s pair of 44s the team defeated Tosa by 40 strokes.
The JV2 team won a tight battle against Tosa on Monday led by Brynn Janczak’s 45 but dropped a tight dual to Hamilton on Wednesday.
The JV teams wrap up their seasons with conference tournaments on Thursday. Best of luck closing out the season!

Germantown Boys Soccer: Busy Week Features Big Wins, Tough Tests, and Youth Night
The Warhawks continued conference play this week with exciting performances across all levels. From dominant offensive displays to gritty defensive efforts, Germantown teams showed resilience and growth as the season enters a critical stretch.
JV2: Strong Win and a Heartbreaker
The JV2 squad put together another impressive week, earning a convincing victory before narrowly missing out on a result against a strong Marquette side.
Monday's match against Wauwatosa East ended in a 3-0 Warhawk victory. Goals came from Liam Robinson, Logan Melby, and Weston Hurtz, while the defense secured a clean sheet to complete a well-rounded team performance.
On Wednesday, JV2 battled Marquette in a tightly contested match that remained up for grabs until the final moments. Germantown fell 2-1 after conceding the winning goal with less than two minutes remaining. Zyan Northcott scored for the Warhawks, and Ryan Saxman delivered an outstanding performance in goal to keep the team within striking distance throughout the match.
While the result was disappointing, the effort, determination, and resilience shown against a quality opponent were clear signs of the progress this group continues to make.
JV2 Looking Ahead
JV2 heads on the road for two challenging matchups next week, traveling to Brookfield Central on Monday and Homestead on Wednesday. The Warhawks will look to build on the positive performances from this week and continue their development against strong competition.
JV: Big Rivalry Win Against Menomonee Falls
The JV team opened the week with an impressive 3-0 victory over Menomonee Falls.
Charlie Ostenga led the attack with two goals, while Kellan Latham added another. One of the highlights of the evening came when Roman Topp delivered a beautiful cross that set up Charlie Ostenga's second goal.
Defensively, the Warhawks were excellent throughout the match. Goalkeeper Breck Pritzl combined with the back line to earn a clean sheet and keep Menomonee Falls off the scoreboard.
Thursday proved to be a more difficult challenge as Germantown fell 4-1 to Kettle Moraine. Despite the result, the team continues to gain valuable experience against strong competition and remains focused on continued improvement heading into the final weeks of the season.
Varsity: Offensive Explosion Followed by Defensive Battle
The Varsity team delivered one of its most exciting offensive performances of the season on Tuesday, defeating Menomonee Falls 6-2.
Aaron Dethloff powered the attack with a hat trick, while Tyler Rahoy added two goals and Carson Tautges contributed another. The Warhawks generated quality chances throughout the match and finished clinically to secure the conference win.
Thursday's matchup against Kettle Moraine presented a completely different challenge. Facing a compact defensive setup, Germantown controlled much of the play but was unable to find the final pass needed to unlock Kettle Moraine's low block. The match ended in a 0-0 draw.
Defensively, the Warhawks were outstanding. Goalkeeper Mason Boyd made an incredible save to preserve the clean sheet, while the back line put together a disciplined performance and allowed very few chances throughout the evening.
Although the team would have preferred three points, the defensive effort demonstrated the organization's commitment and ability to compete in tightly contested matches.
Looking Ahead: Two Home Matches and Youth Night
Both Varsity and JV return home next week for a pair of exciting matchups.
Tuesday: vs. Brookfield Central and Thursday: vs. Kenosha Bradford
Thursday will also be Youth Night, and all youth soccer players representing their local club can attend for free by wearing their club jersey to the game.
Youth players will be able to walk out onto the field with the Warhawks before the match, making it a special evening celebrating the future of soccer in our community.
All local soccer families, players, coaches, and supporters to come out and help create an exciting atmosphere as the Warhawks continue their push through the season!
