The Germantown Forensics team competed at WFCA state earlier this month. Congratulations to Brooke Jakubowski, Meghan DeChant and Samantha Kessler for being semifinalists.
Last week the Germantown Forensics team competed at the WISDAA state meet. Congratulations to Gold Medal winners: Brooke Jakubowski, Nick Socha, Sasindu Wimalaratne, Drew Venne, Rory Bishop, and Leah Anderson. Congratulations to Silver Medal winners: James Buchta, Arush Chopra, Meghan DeChant, Ian Spredemann, and Samantha Kessler. Congratulations to Bronze Medal winner: Emmalyn Keane.
A special congratulations to Brooke Jakubowski for earning the 4 year Gold Medal Award. This award is for those competitors who score a perfect score at State all 4 years of high school!

The Girl's Soccer Program had a jam packed week!
Tuesday night was youth night, there was a great turnout from our future Warhawks! We are super grateful for all that were able to attend! Varsity ended up falling to Hamilton 1-0. JV defeated Hamilton 2-0 with goals scored by Scarlett Rojhan and Josie Wagener!
The girls responded Thursday night against another conference foe Brookfield Central winning 2-1. After conceding an early goal, the Warhawks responded 5 minutes later with a goal from Maya Staples to tie things up before half. Mary Leininger finished the game-winner in the 72nd minute from Alayna Gleenson. It was a well fought game with great performances from all including Julia Skarda and Kaitlin Maier. JV defeated Central 5-0! The girls started off strong in the 4th minute with a goal from Abby Humphriss from Aria Barter. Stella Rojhan was able to double the lead from another assist from Aria Barter. In the second half, Josie Wagner, Marley Staples and Quinn Nielson all struck from distance to add to the lead.
JV2 also played this week against DSHA. The girls had a dominating performance winning 9-0. Scarlett Rojhan got things started in the 4th minute, and just a minute later Maddy Kupsik added to the lead. Aria Barter, Addie Becker with two, and Grace Kichura with two. The girls went into half with a 7-0 lead adding two more goals in the second half with Addie Becker earning the hattrick and Grace Gordon from a PK.
The JV and Varsity team are back in action tomorrow, Saturday May 2nd for a conference makeup game at Brookfield East. Come out to support your girls!

Varsity Track and Field: On Saturday, April 25th, the Varsity teams traveled to Wisconsin Lutheran for the Carleton-Sitz Invitational. The boys team placed 5th out of 19 teams, while the girls placed 3rd out of 20 teams. This meet kicked off massive PR’s for a ton of athletes and TWO school records for the girls over the next couple of days. Sophia Zastrow set the 200m Dash School Record on Saturday with a time 25.15! Three days later, Lydia Taraboi set the school record in the 400m Dash with a time of 57.57! Huge congratulations to those two girls!! The next Varsity meet takes place at Wauwatosa West for Conference Relays on Wednesday May 6th!

On Tuesday April 28th, athletes traveled to Slinger, WI for the Washington County Invite that included 9 teams. The boys team placed 7th and the girls team placed 4th. The meet proved to be a great test for the athletes and they left with an abundance of PR’s against phenomenal competition.
