This past weekend was the WIAA Individual State Wrestling Tournament. The Warhawks had two wrestlers competing, Isaac Weber and David Schultz. Both wrestlers had a really good tournament with both of them learned valuable lessons along the way. Schultz was eliminated after the second round and Weber lost a heartbreaker in the semi finals but fought his way back to take 3rd place! With the season now over, the Warhawks will return 12 of 14 starters for next season and look for their 6th straight GMC championship as well as a return trip to team state!

Good luck this weekend at the WIAA State Gymnastics Tournament, Anna Tchesnokova!
Congrats to the Menomonee Falls/Germantown Gymnastics Team who placed 4th over the weekend in a very competitive sectional. And a special congratulations to Anna Tchesnokova who placed 2nd on balance beam with a 9.275 to qualify for the state tournament!

Well done on a great season, girls' basketball!

Good luck to the boys' basketball team as they host Green Bay Preble tomorrow night at 7pm in a Regional match-up! You can purchase a ticket HERE and view it on livestream HERE with a subscription.
Sussex Scrimmage: On February 22, the robotics team attended the Sussex Scrimmage. It is a small event where teams can test their unfinished robots in actual game play conditions on a field built by Team 537 (the same team who had us over for the game reveal). While it is a small event, there were 30 teams and 25 testing matches. Although points were not counted, the level of excitement was high! Well done to all!

The Lakeshore Lightning Girls' Hockey Co-op took defending State Champ Bay Area to the final minutes in the Sectional Final at the UW Panther Arena on Friday. Lakeshore took the lead on a Power Play goal and held the lead until the 2nd period when Bay Area responded to take a 2-1 lead. The score remained a 1 goal game until less than 2 minutes left in the game when Bay Area took a penalty and Lakeshore pulled its goalie for a 6 on 4 skater advantage. Bay Area ended the scoring with a controversial empty net goal with one of their players offsides. Lakeshore ended the season at a program record 21-6 which was the third best in the state behind the 2 state finalists - Bay Area and St. Croix! Lakeshore had defeated St. Croix earlier in the season. Outstanding season to all!
