Boys' BBallGood luck to the boys' basketball team as they take on Brookfield Central tonight at home! It is also their youth night! GO WARHAWKS!

Girls BasketballLast Friday the girls' basketball team lost to Wauwatosa East (ranked #3 in Division 1). Maddie Stocks hit 5 3-pointers for 15 points to lead the Warhawks. Amiah Braxton pulled down 6 rebounds, while Macey Burling contributed 4 assists and 2 steals.

On Tuesday the girls' basketball team used a big first half to cruise to a 89-45 win over Wauwatosa West. Four players scored in double figures led by Avery O'Brien with 20 points. Maddie Stocks (15 points, 5 3-pointers), Teigan Stuve (14 points) and Lexi Maier (10 points) rounded out the double digit scorers. Kylee Bell made her season debut and got 6 steals. Amiah Braxton pulled down 6 rebounds and Teigan Stuve dished out 5 assists in the victory.

Tonight the girls travel to Brookfield Central for a conference matchup. Good luck!

GBBGBBGBBGBBGBBGymnasticsThe girls of Menomonee Falls/Germantown gymnastics have had an amazing first month of practice in preparation for their competitive season.  Their first meet is next Thursday December 18th at 6:00 pm at MFHS.  Come cheer them on for their season opener and first conference meet!

GymnasticsHockeyGood luck to the boys' hockey team as they head up to Manitowoc tonight for a 5pm match-up! Tomorrow they take on the Fox City Starts at 5 and 7. Good luck!

Girls HockeyLakeshore Lightning split a pair of one goal conference games this week, defeating Fox Cities 3-2 in overtime in Neenah on Saturday and falling to University School on Tuesday 4-3.  Against Fox Cities, the Lightning went up 2-0 before taking 5 consecutive penalties that allowed Fox Cities to tie the game.  In overtime, the tables turned and after Fox Cities took 2 penalties, the Lightning capitalized on the 5-3 player advantage to score the game winner in Overtime.  Tuesday, University School got out to a 3-0 and 4-1 lead again taking advantage of Lightning penalties.  The Lightning did not go quietly and scored twice in the final 5 minutes and threatened to tie the game, but came up short.  The Lakeshore Lightning record is 5-2 on the season heading into a weekend conference game against the Badger/Baraboo Co-Op before returning to conference action next week.

HockeyBoys Swim The boys' swim and dive team hosted their first home dual last night against Oshkosh North and had a great firs showing! The swimmers head to Brookfield Central and their diver heads to West Bend tomorrow for invitationals. Good luck!

Wrestling Germantown defeated Marquette in a Greater Metro Conference battle 52-25. Over the past weekend the Warhawk wrestlers competed in the Festival of Wrestling.  Boys Varsity took first going 4-0 on the day and Masen Teiddemann taking first place in the JV portion of the tournament. It was a great tournament by all. Girls varsity travels to West Allis Central and Boys Varsity travels to Bay Port. Good luck!
