Girls SoccerThe girls' soccer team is coming off of big wins against Madison West 4-1, Racine Horlick 8-0 and Kenosha Bradford 6-0. They face Whitefish Bay this weekend at home at 3pm. GOOD LUCK!

SoccerSoftballThe softball team was 3-0 on the week.  They are 14-3 overall and 13-2 in the GMC, good for 2nd place.

5/9 - GTown 11, West Allis 1 (6 innings)

The Warhawks scored 11 unanswered after falling behind 1-0 in the first.  Kayla Preiss led the way, socking her 4th and 5th home runs of the season and adding a triple for good measure on her way to driving in 7 runs and scoring 3.  Emmy Coulter also had 3 hits, scoring 2 and driving in 1.

Alaina Williams (5-1) notched her 3rd complete game of the season in the circle, giving up on 2 hits and 1 walk while striking out 2 in 6 innings pitched.

5/13 - GTown 13, DSHA 3 (5 innings)

The Warhawks used a 9-run 3rd inning to put the game away.  Madison Werner clubbed her team leading 7th and 8th home runs of the season and added a double to give her a perfect 3-3 day at the plate, while driving in 4 and scoring 3 runs.  Ally Pentek added 2 hits (2-4, R, 3 RBI, SB).

Alaina Williams (6-1) picked up the win, giving up 3 runs (1 earned) on 6 hits and 1 walk while striking out 1 in 3 innings.  Ella Saltarikos pitched the last 2 innings without giving up a run.

5/14 - GTown 5, Brookfield Central 4

Down 4-1 in the bottom of the 6th, the Warhawks looked to be on their way their 2nd loss of the season to Brookfield Central.  However, after singles by Kayla Preiss and Madison Werner and an RBI fielder's choice by Kennedy Bennett, Ella Saltarikos came through with a game-tying 2-run double and later came around to score the go-ahead run on a Brookfield Central fielding error.

Ally Pentek had 2 hits in the game to lead the Warhawks.

Alaina Williams (7-1) picked up the win in relief, giving up only 1 run (earned) on 4 hits and 1 walk while striking out 5 in 6 innings.

On Tuesday the team was able to celebrate not only some good tennis, but the incredible seniors who have given so much to the tennis team. The seniors have shown great dedication, have been extremely dependable, and overall very leadership-driven. They've led by example, mentored younger teammates, and created memories that will last long after the final match.

To the seniors: Coach Jossart thanks you for everything you’ve done this year from the wins, the hardships, the memories, and most of all, the heart you’ve brought to this program. You’ve left a mark on this team, and you will be missed dearly next year! Best of luck in all of your future endeavors!

Here is what the tennis seniors are doing after high school:

James Goetter is going into the Army Reserves and then onto Platteville for Construction Management

Adam Emerson is going to Madison for Engineering

Cooper Meinecke is going to Platteville for Engineering

Will Wagner is going to Platteville for Engineering

Taylor Retlick is going to Platteville for Engineering

Evan Mikul is going into the Air Force

Clark Capelle is going to Stout for Gaming Design

Kyle Privat is going to Kansas University for Statistics

Alex Espino is still contemplating his choices after high school and the world is his oyster.
