Last Friday both the JV and Varsity teams took care of business against West Bend West/East. Varsity won 8-0 in 70 minutes. Goals were scored by Maya Staples who had a hat-trick on the night, Gabbie Hetzel with two, Mary Leininger, Leah Brock and JC Mani. JV won 5-0 with goals from Lacy Privat from Allie MacDonald, Abby Humphriss, Lacy again from Allie, Claire Kamyszek and Lacy with the final goal for a hat-trick.
On Tuesday, the girls varsity team won an exciting conference match up against Sussex Hamilton 3-1. The girls played a great match for all 80 minutes to get the win. Goals were scored by Mila Schroeder assisted by JC Mani, Mary Leininger unassisted and Megan Grater assisted by Mary Leininger. Lexi Maier also had 11 saves on the night. JV fell short, losing 1-0 after conceding a goal in the 76th minute.
The Varsity team is back at home tomorrow - Saturday, May 3rd at 5:00 PM against ranked Madison West. And both teams play again on Monday 5/5 at home against BC for the weather makeup! Come cheer the team on!!
The softball team was 2-2 last week. They are 8-3 overall and 7-2 in the GMC.

Senior Kylie Otto (3-2) was the tough luck loser in game 1, holding the #2 ranked D1 team in the state to 4 hits and 1 run (earned) over 6 innings pitched. She struck out 4 and walked none.
Senior CF Emmy Coulter (2-3) and Senior SS Kayla Preiss (2-3, 2 SB) had multi-hit games for the Warhawks.

Junior Alaina Williams (3-1) picked up the win in game 2, giving up 8 hits and 5 runs (1 earned) while walking 2 and striking out 3.

Senior SS Kayla Preiss and Senior 1B Madison Werner were each 3-3 with a double, home run and 5 RBI, Senior CF Emmy Coulter and Junior LF Ally Pentek both reached base in all 4 plate appearances as the top 4 batters in the order never made an out.
Senior Kylie Otto pitched a complete game shutout, allowing only 3 hits with no walks and 6 strikeouts.
