SnowboardingHockeyCaptain of the Bears hockey team Trevor Newkirk along with Assistant Captain Stone Daczka and Reid Newkirk as well as a few other players accept a casket flag from the VFW Auxiliary. The family of the veteran that donated the flag did not want to be recognized, but instead wanted the flag as a reminder to all of those who have given the ultimate sacrifice. The flag will be hung in the Bears locker room as a reminder to play for something bigger than oneself.
