student parking permits

STUDENT PARKING PERMITS

Parking at Germantown High School is a privilege. It is greatly sought after by a large number of students and does not always match the number of parking spots available. Any student not receiving a parking spot will be placed on a waitlist. DO NOT remit parking payments at this time. Wait until you are notified that you did receive a parking spot.

The assigning of parking spots will occur in the following manner:

1. SENIORS: For GHS enrolled 2024–25 Seniors with request form turned in by the Thursday, April 18, 2024, SENIOR deadline.

2. JUNIORS: For GHS enrolled 2024–25 Juniors (and Seniors missing the senior deadline) with request form turned in by Friday, April 26, 2024, Junior deadline.

3. SOPHOMORES: Lottery for GHS enrolled 2024–25 Sophomores (and any Seniors or Juniors missing the previous deadlines) with request form turned in by the Friday, May 3, 2024, Sophomore Lottery deadline.

NOTE: All outstanding student fees (school and co-curricular) must be paid before the student will be considered for a parking spot.

Once notified that you received a parking spot for the 2024–25 school year, the $200 fee (payable to Germantown School District) must be received by Friday, June 7, 2024. Any student who does not remit payment by the deadline or has outstanding school and/or co-curricular fees may end up on a waitlist.

The privilege of parking on school grounds may be revoked should a student encounter attendance problems or discipline issues. The parking fee WILL NOT be refunded if a student’s parking privileges are revoked.

We understand the difficulties families and students go through when a student wants to drive and there are no student parking spots available. We, at Germantown High School, are indeed sensitive to those needs and concerns. We are doing all we can to provide the best parking system to meet the needs of the greatest number of GHS students.

Thank you for your cooperation.
