Dear Parents/Guardians,
You're invited to Back to School Connections Night on Wednesday, September 13, 2023! 6:45 to 8:35 PM for grades 9-11 and 6:00-8:35 for grade 12. This will be a great opportunity for staff to meet and greet you and the intent is that this night is for PARENTS only. It will also give you the opportunity to attend your students’ classes and find out what co-curricular activities are available.
The Back to School Connections Night will begin with a presentation for parents of SENIORS ONLY at 6:00 PM in the Performing Arts Center (PAC). Parents of freshmen, sophomores and juniors begin their night with the period 1 classes at 6:45 PM and will be joined by the senior parents at that time. Please print your students’ schedule and bring it to this event, or access it through the handy Skyward Mobile App. If you are unable to do so, one can be requested that evening in the Student Services and/or Main Office. Display tables with representatives from various activities and co-curricular departments will be in the Commons/Cafeteria from 6:00-8:30 PM.

In each of your students’ classes, you will receive an overview of the class expectations for attendance, participation, behavior and citizenship, along with instructional and assessment strategies. The Resource Period session will be a “meet and greet,” with an informal type of format for those five minutes. Announcements and bells at the end of each period will give directions to the next class. We are looking forward to seeing you at our 18th annual “Back to School Connections Night,” with the hope that you can attend.
