Congratulations to the Germantown Girls' Basketball Team on advancing to the State Tournament this Friday in Green Bay!  GOOD LUCK!

On February 29-March 1, twenty-two  Germantown DECA students earned the right to represent the local chapter at the State Career Development Conference (SCDC), located at the Grand Geneva in Lake Geneva, WI.


The team members performed very well, earning a medal for their test and role plays.  Additionally, the majority qualified to compete at the International Career Development Conference (ICDC), held in Orlando, FL this spring.  Congratulations to all on a job well done!

CONGRATULATIONS to the Varsity Girls’ Basketball Team on their advancement to the State Tournament!  What an exciting time to be a Warhawk!


The Activities Office at the high school received a box of hard copy tickets, $11 each.  (The team will play Friday in Green Bay at the Resch Center against rivals Brookfield East at 6:35 p.m.)

If you would like one or more of these hard copy tickets, please stop by the Activities Office Wednesday from 8-3:30, Thursday 9-3, or Friday 8-noon.  *Cash or check only.  Please make checks out to Germantown High School.*

*On a side note, a $2,000 check will be awarded to the school, by division, that sells the most pre-sale hard-copy tickets for their State semifinal game.*

You are certainly welcome to go online and purchase tickets in other sections as well.  You can do that HERE.

The Germantown Girls' Basketball Team qualified for the WIAA State Tournament by dominating their two sectional opponents. In the semifinal game, the Warhawks trounced DSHA, at one point building a 68-18 lead, before finishing with a 73-32 victory. Lucy Leininger led the scoring with 17 points, with Danica Gosz (15 points) and Jaycee Mani (12 points) also finishing in double figures. Madeline Jakusz contributed 5 points and 9 rebounds to the winning effort. KK Arnold played 21 minutes and finished with a triple-double (13 points, 15 assists and 12 rebounds).

 

In the sectional final, Germantown downed Kimberly 94-67 to clinch their berth to state. KK Arnold put on an unbelievable display, finishing with a second consecutive triple-double (38 points, 12 rebounds, 11 assists). Lucy Leininger (17 points) and Madeline Jakusz (14 points to go with 9 rebounds) also finished in double figures in scoring. Megan Parmenter hit a 3-pointer to close out the scoring on the night and send the Warhawks into a post-game celebration.


Congratulations to Fynn Langley, Emersyn Coulter and Jadyn Graffenius on their performance at State this past weekend!  The team finished in 10th place.  Fynn tied for 13th on the beam, was 15th on the Vault and was 19th All Around, Jadyn was 20th on the Uneven Bars, and Emersyn was 20th on the Vault.  Nice work!


Congratulations to the Germantown Wrestling Team on their Team State showing.  Well done to Owen Becker, Kellen Becker, Ryan Lesnik, Michael Lenius, Jason Hower, Riese Thornberry, Eli Rabideau, Kenny Roberts, Lucas Grambow, Talan Schutte, Ryan Michalski, Aidan Brukbacher, Ethan Riddle, Jacob Momper, Alex Pluta, Nathan Stiebs and Jackson Kirsch on a phenomenal season!
