students dressed up as their historical figure

Each winter, County Line third graders take on the life of well-known historical figures, literally! As part of the Wax Museum project, students choose a historical figure, conduct research, write a biographical report, and create poster backdrops and short speeches about their chosen person. Finally, on Wax Museum day, students dress up as wax depictions of their famous figures who come to life with a push of a “button”. This immersive research project integrates social studies, reading, writing, and art into one amazing experience.
