GSD welcomes new KMS Principal Jessica Gieryn

Germantown School District welcomes the new Principal of Kennedy Middle School, Ms. Jessica Gieryn.

Ms. Gieryn has 23 years of service in education—20 years as a middle school teacher and the last three as an Associate Principal at North Middle School in Menomonee Falls. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she played percussion in the Wisconsin Marching Band. Ms. Gieryn earned her Masters of Science in Educational Leadership and Curriculum/Instruction from Marian University and her Education Masters in Professional Development/Mentoring from Cardinal Stritch University. She also recently earned her National Boards Certification in English Language Arts, was awarded an SDMF Employee of Distinction Award in 2019, and was a finalist for the Wisconsin Associate Principal of the Year in 2021.

“Helping every child achieve is why I went into education,” Ms. Gieryn said. “I am excited to step into this new role as Principal and share my experience, energy, and passion to positively affect students and staff at Kennedy Middle School.”
