His background is comprised of teaching experience at the middle school level in math and science, as well as six years of administrative experience as an associate principal and his current position as a principal of a 1,100-student middle school.

“We are thrilled to have Mr. Misiak join our team and the Germantown community,” said current Director of Teaching & Learning, Chris Reuter. “Jake rose to the top of our candidate pool and multiple interviews, culminating with parents, teachers, Board of Education members, and administrative team representation in the final round of interviews. His leadership style will bring a process-driven mindset to think and act strategically to implement curriculum across the district to benefit every student and teacher.”
