Inclement weather: This will be declared a day in advance if temperatures are predicted to be too cold or snow accumulation may create unsafe road conditions.

Significant number of students or staff absent: If a significant number of students or staff in a classroom/grade level/building is out, those students would shift to virtual learning for a period of time.

A virtual learning day will allow students to participate in academic activities offsite and will be counted as an official school day.

Special Education Staff will communicate with parents/students how they will deliver services.

• Virtual Learning Days will count as official school days.
• Attendance will be taken and school work will be graded.
• Planning for this day will be dependent on the timing of an in-person school programming change or closure.
• Elementary homeroom teachers may send specific information to their students regarding the day.
