Germantown High School Prom

Tickets: Tickets can be purchased by GHS juniors for $85 from April 10th-April 19th using this link (available beginning 4/10) for prom on May 4th, 2024. Only juniors may purchase up to two tickets using this link. If you are purchasing a ticket for a non-GHS student, you must FIRST turn in a Guest Dance form to the main office-once okayed you need to bring the signed form to B103 (Ms. Seramur) no later than the end of school day Thursday, April 18th. 

There will be no tickets sold after April 19th. Students should have access to the QR code provided to enter the dance. For the Coupon Code please use GHS STUDENT ID number. This can be found in Skyward under “student info” then in the “other ID” category. 

Guests: Only current high school students (grades 9-12) may attend prom. GHS students may bring a guest from another high school and must turn in a signed School Dance Guest Form to the main office by Monday, April 15th. Copies of the form can be found in the wall file across from Student Services. Completed forms should be turned in to Ms. Seramur (Room B103) no later than the end of school day Thursday, April 18th. 

Ticket Price: The price of the ticket includes the DJ, room rental fee, appetizers, a salad, dinner and dessert, unlimited soft drinks, centerpieces, room decorations, a photo booth and a 360 photo opportunity. 

Dinner Choice: Students who purchase a ticket and have dietary needs, please email Ms. Seramur. 

Tables: Students who purchase a ticket will be contacted to fill out a Google Form to indicate who they choose to share a table with. No more than 10 students per table and no changes to this list can be made.

  • Post Prom: Urban Air Adventure 

Grand March: Family and friends wishing to watch the Grand March may do so with a suggested donation of $2.00 taken at the door. All proceeds will benefit the class of 2026. Any student wishing to march must arrive by 4:45 pm

Post Prom: Join us for a night of exciting activities, food and fabulous prizes following prom on Saturday, May 4th at Urban Air Adventure, 2440 E.Moreland Blvd, Waukesha, from 11:30 PM-2:00 AM. Yes, you will have time to go home and change. All Juniors/guests are welcome. Juniors you need not attend prom to come. Unlimited activities including Sky Rider, Rope Course, Climbing Walls, Trampolines, Wipeout, Go-Karts, Battle Beans, and other activities, unlimited food and drink. Entry to win raffle prizes, gift cards to restaurants, passes to local attractions/festivals, and more. All for only $20.00 per person! Possibility of provided transportation for an additional $10.   • Grand March – GHS Main Gym 

    • 4:45 pm – 5:30 pm 

    • Prom Royalty Presented at 5:20 pm Concluding with announcement of this year’s Prom King & Queen 

  • Dinner and Dance – River Club of Mequon 

    • Arrival, Check-In & seating: 6:00 pm – 6:30 pm 

    • Dinner & Dessert Served: 6:30 pm – 7:00 pm 

    • Dance: 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm 

    • Late night snack: 8:30pm 

  • Post Prom – Urban Air Adventure 

    • 11:30 pm – 2:00 am 

Rules:

Prom is a school sponsored event and therefore all school rules apply. All detentions must be served prior to prom otherwise admittance will be denied.  Any student displaying disruptive or inappropriate behavior will be asked to leave. No student will be admitted to prom after 7:00 pm.  All tickets are non-refundable. Only students attending prom are allowed at the River Club of Mequon; it is a secure site. 

We expect students to exercise self-discipline and make good choices. However, when student conduct does not comply with building policy or the law, appropriate action will be taken. Appropriate action may include a verbal warning, parent notification, expulsion from the dance, and/or police referral. 

Some of the offenses that result in disciplinary action include the following: 

It is this policy of the Germantown School District that all students are expected to dress and groom themselves neatly in a manner appropriate for school functions. 

  • Insubordination-Refusal to follow directions from school personnel 

  • Obscenity-Vulgar acts including verbal or physical statements written or displayed on clothing; the use of insulting, vulgar, abusive, profane or irreverent language 

  • Defacing property 

  • Refusal to follow the rules/regulations as determined by the administration 

Offenses that will result in automatic expulsion from the dance, parent/guardian notification and/or police referral include, but are not limited to: 

  • Vandalism 

  • Threatening or actual violence or physical force directed toward a chaperone, school personnel, building personnel, or student 

  • Theft or unauthorized possession of property 

  • Possession, sale, consumption and/or use of marijuana, narcotics, alcohol or controlled substances

  • Possession of a weapon, firearm or facsimile 

  • Conduct which endangers the health, property or safety of others or his or her own person

  • Possession or use of tobacco products 

  • Disrupting the ability of school authorities to maintain order.
