Visit the PAC in the months of March-April to view works by this season's featured artist: Becky Berger. Exhibit is open to the public during all PAC events. This is a free exhibit.

The path I took to become an artist is a bit untraditional. I have been a small business owner for a long time while raising four daughters. Once I became an empty-nester and had some free time, I began dabbling in textured art as a way to decorate my home. I quickly discovered a creative outlet that I thoroughly enjoyed and the art became a passion of mine. With the use of common products such as joint compound, spackling paste, modeling paste, and acrylics, I am able to create unique 3-D textures in a variety of styles. I love the soothing simplicity of neutrals and minimalistic design, but am also a sucker for mid-century modern and bright colors.

Parents are invited to attend the GHS Academic Awards Ceremony at the Germantown PAC and celebrate their student's academic excellence. Doors open at 9:30am

Set Build is cancelled for 4/14.

This is a meeting open to anyone who would like to contribute ideas and effort into the 24/25 PAC Community Event Series. This meeting will take place in the PAC Lobby.

GHS Dramatic Impact presents its spring musical: The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Staff Preview is the final dress rehearsal, which is open free to GSD staff who present their staff IDs at the door. Doors open at 6:30pm, Show begins at 7:00pm.

Staff preview is for GSD staff only. Please do not bring spouses, children, or friends. Tickets are not available for staff preview. Please attend one of our weekend performances with your family and friends!

Visit the PAC between April 29th and May 19th to view works by this season's featured artist: Paula DeStefanis. Exhibit is open to the public during all PAC events. This is a free exhibit.

Paula DeStefanis is an American painter known for her multilayered abstract paintings. Working alternately in acrylic and oil, she uses repetition and layering to symbolize time, duration, and change. Her process leads to in-depth exploration of a concept from multiple perspectives. Layering paint, sometimes with unconventional tools, often scratching away to find what lies beneath, the work celebrates both the physical and emotive qualities of each medium. Paula is active in the arts community through her work with North Shore Academy of the Arts and the Arts Mill. As Director, Paula drives art and educational programming for the two facilities as well as curation and management of exhibits. A practicing artist for 30 years, Paula divides her time between her studios in the US and UK. Her work can be found in galleries throughout the Midwest as well as corporate and private collections around the world. Feel free to get in touch. I love the physical process of applying paint to canvas and the real sense of freedom I get in allowing a spontaneous application of color and line to the prepared surface. The unpredictability and potential sense of discovery are very exciting, and one of the main reasons I do what I do. I have always subscribed to the theory of “paint for paint’s sake” by celebrating the qualities of the medium while including the images and textures that move me. I believe that each medium renders a unique response. In acrylic, I tend to draw from my daily experiences, beginning each canvas as a written journal resulting in multi-layered and often very geometrical works. In oils, I tend to be drawn to the patina and decay of aged surfaces. My goal is to create work that will engage the viewer and foster a dialogue that is invigorating, educational, and rewarding
