All Child Development Days take place at 9:30 in the Early Childhood classroom at Rockfield Elementary School, N132W18473 Rockfield Road, Germantown, WI 53022

The Purpose of Child Development Day
- To offer a developmental screening to confirm the progress of children and to possibly identify children who may show a need for follow-up assessment.
- To further educate families about child development and activities to promote early learning.
- To promote awareness of programs and services in the community that can assist families.
Child Development Day Information
- After registering, you will be mailed additional paperwork about your child to be completed prior to your appointment.
- Children will be observed during free play and during structured play-based activities. During this time, school staff will screen for speech/language and other developmental milestones.
- Parents will have time to interact with one another and with educators. We will provide information about community resources, ideas for activities to do with young children, and information on development.
Child Development Days are intended for children age 2 years 9 months through age 5
